The story : In the early 40s , Marion Steiner is a famous actress that has retired from movies and now performs on stage.
She has taken over managing the theater that her equally famous Jewish husband Lucas typically ran , before the Nazi's had taken over France.
Marion lives the grueling life of managing the theater as at this time it stays high in demand - being a place for the Parisians to go to stay warm.
She is hiding her husband and performing in the plays her husband has chosen , without ever speaking a word of her Lucas' whereabouts.
