Filmed entirely in New York.
The story : Max Simkin is a Jewish cobbler.
He runs a cobbler shop that used to be run by his father.
One day , Max is threatened by an intimidating customer that if his shoes arent fixed that day by the time he closes it wont be good for Max.
Max works hard to get the shoes fixed but while doing so , his sewing machine breaks.
Max goes into the basement where he keeps his fathers old things.
In there is Max's dads old sole-sewing machine , which Max uses on the scary customers shoes.
Hours after closing , Max continues to wait for the customer to arrive.
Bored , Max tries on the scary customers shoes because they happen to be his size.
That's when Max is instantly tranformed into the very same likeness of the customer.
Scared at first , Max realizes he can use this magic to his advantage.
