The story : A young Canadian writer gets word of a man named Piscine Molitor Patel and his amazing story.
The writer seeks out Piscine to hear his story and gets the pleasure of doing so.
Piscine tells the writer of his name and what his life was like as a young child living in India.
Piscine goes on to tell of how his family owned many animals that were living in a state funded zoo.
When there wasnt enough money for his family to continue living and taking care of the zoo , they were forced to relocate.
Onward the family went , onto a giant ship headed for Canada along side all their animals.
But during the course of their travel , disaster struck.
