The story : Lenny Bruce is a young , struggling comic.
He meets his wife Honey and things go well for quite a while.
The two begin working together as a team.
Then they begin doing drugs together.
Lenny gets away from the drugs as he continues working but Honey isnt so lucky.
Drugs and infidelity put a strain on their relationship.
As Lenny becomes famous for his controversial and honest stage act , his wife continues her struggle with drug addiction.
All of this until Lenny finally hits bottom after being arrested so many times for the "innapropriate" things he says onstage.
