The story: In 1977, the TV network ABC was in need of a racy, new show.
After the guys in charge of finding new shows turned a new show idea called 'Three's Company' down, their boss demanded that they buy it immediately.
Buy the show they did.
Then, almost immediately the guys in charge cast John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt.
Everyone loved them both, but the role of Chrissy was becoming a task to fill.
The head of ABC took charge once more and demanded that they find and audition a little known actress by the name of Suzanne Sommers.
Auditioning with Joyce, Suzanne won the part no problem.
From that point on, for the next season, things went great for the three actors and the show became more and more of a success.
Then all of a sudden Suzanne got greedy and that, is surely where things began to sour.
