The Ryan White Story (1989)

The story : Ryan is the average 13-year-old boy.
He lives with his mother and sister and loves his friends and school.
Recently, Ryan hasn't been feeling well.
His mother assumes that Ryan not feeling well is due to his Haemophilia, for which she has been treating him with home transfusions.
This particular time the transfusion doesn't seem to help and soon Ryan is running a very high fever.
His mother rushes him to the hospital. The doctors find that Ryan has a sort of pneumonia.
To understand what type of pneumonia he has, the doctors must operate.
What they find out is not only is Ryan suffering from pneumonia but he also has AIDS.
After some time, his pneumonia gets better and the only logical thing for him to do now is return to school.
Only his school no longer wants him to attend because everyone is frightened of contracting the AIDS virus.
