Fear Of Fanny (2006)
Made for TV (BBC). Not released in the US.
Filming location(s) unknown.
The story: By the late 50s a strong-willed British woman by the name of Fanny Cradock, alongside her husband - Major Johnnie Cradock, were a sought after, innovative tv cooking team.
Living a very high life close by to London, the two entertained many guests giving very large dinner parties surrounding Fannys' culinary abilities, which she fully credited as a result of her clairvoyance.
Fanny and hubby were indeed the new stars of their own ever-growing popular tv cooking series.
The public adored the couple's ideas, creativity, and witty presence.
The tv network and everyone else that worked close with Fanny seen her as more than difficult.
But then again, everyone felt that she was an irreplaceable star and that the tv viewers just loved her to pieces.
This meant everyone just carried on, walking on eggshells.
By the 70s, Fanny had become ever so difficult, mean & controlling - out of her mind at times.
Other popular tv personas began publicly making fun of her, even without her own self making herself look atrocious.
People in the business, family, and friends were tired of this. The 70s saw the last of her tv cooking series as a result.
