The story: Harvey Milk is a middle-aged homosexual man who feels he needs a change.
Change Mr. Milk does, as he meets up with the love of his life and soon opens a thriving camera shop in an area that local businesses need a push.
A lot of people give Harvey a hard time and dislike his shop strictly because he is homosexual. Milk begins working non-stop, over the course of many years to make equal rights for all in his community mandatory. Making Harvey truly a hero in his own right.
