The story : Conrad is a typical sixteen-year-old who likes to hang with his two buddies.
When he meets Grace , she tells him that they will fall in-love.
The more Conrad thinks about Grace , the more he wants to spend time with her.
On the night that Conrad is to go see the fireworks with everyone else in town , his buddies convince him to go out with them instead , driving around in one of their granddads truck.
While doing so , Conrad is getting his ass busted by his buddy about Grace ,  so he decides to go to Graces and steal something.
But Grace's older brother is at home and sees Conrad , so he chases them.
During the chase , Grace's brother has an accident.
Due to being scared of getting in trouble , Conrad's buds decide they aren't gonna get help and take off even though Conrad knows its wrong.

The story : It is the future.
People have been creating adult robots to fill any and all voids.
But never a child robot , until now.
Monica and Henry are a married couple who have a young son , Martin.
Martin has been very ill for sometime and the odds do not look good for him.
Henry decides to help Monica cope by bringing her a new son , robot David.
The more time Monica spends around awkward David the more she takes a liking to him.
Finally she programs David to be her son.
Settling in with David , Monica gets news from Henry that their son Martin has recovered and can come home.
Right away young Martin has some ill fated feelings towards innocent David and makes things difficult for him.
But when David seems to have become a danger to Martin , Monica decides to ditch him.
David cannot handle the abandonment and believes that if he can become a real boy , Monica will finally love him back unconditionally.
