The story: Many horror movie lovers first came to the genre because of the monsters.

Monsters among other things captured people's imaginations.

In the early days of movies, monsters were distorted versions of humans concealed under incredible makeup.

By the 1950s, the up and coming creation was the full-body monster suit as well as giant creature creations. 

Still, the 1980's seen yet another shift.

New special effects materials let artists upgrade their rubber monster creations with robotic parts.

Monsters from Outer Space.

Creations of magic or science gone wrong, all monsters are representations of human fears.
