The story : In 1992 a group of astronauts are shot into space on a mission.
Things go horribly wrong and the President calls in help of the X-Men.
Almost everything goes according to plan. But something has happened to Jean.
No one really knows the extent result until things begin getting hectic inside her head.
Now Jean believes all that she has ever know is a lie and goes off to seek the truth.
The results become deadly as she is no longer in control of her powers.
That's when the other X-Men realize something seriously went wrong with her that she herself if unaware of.
Jean is now the carrier of a power that aliens from another planet have been waiting years to control.
