The story : Ever since Anna was little she has been kept locked away from the world by the only person she knows , daddy.
When Anna becomes sick and her daddy just cannot deal anymore , he decides to send Anna to "the better place'.
But he just cannot gather the courage and ends up injuring himself.
The cops are called in and the next thing Anna knows she is scared to death in a hospital.
Ellen the local sheriff arrives to chat with Anna and bring her out of her shell.
While the hospital is doing DNA tests on Anna in search of other relatives , Anna decides instead of going to another hospital , to go stay with Ellen.
At Ellen s home , Anna is exposed to many things she's never experienced before...and these experiences bring out the person inside Anna that her daddy was trying to keep from emerging.
