The story : It is Summer of 1978 in a small Southern Baptist town.
Everyone in town works at the O.P. Henley Textile Factory , but work is hard for very little money.
Norma Rae , a young women with two young children living with her parents meets Reuben Warshowsky , a labor organizer.
Reuben has come to Norma Rae's small town to convince the people working at O.P. Henley that they should be members of the Textile Union.
After helping Norma Rae in a tough time , Reuben gets her attention.
He convinces Norma Rae that the Union is the way to go , even if everyone is scared of what could happen.
The two get together and work hard to convince the O.P. Henley employees that they must become Union members or their working conditions will never get any better.

The story : Ned is a bored lawyer who doesn't have a great track record.
One steamy hot summer night , while out on the town , he sees an interesting women.
Ned decides to follow her and start up a conversation.
The women plays hard-to-get , claiming that she is married but never said anything about happily...
After talking a bit Ned steps away but returns to find the women , Matty - gone.
All he knows is that she is married , rich and living in a nearby town.
He ventures out to the town he believes he will find Matty in and sure enough , he finds her.
The two soon begin a passionate love affair and can't seem to stay away from each other.
But no one must find out. Although , as time goes on , many people see them together.
When Matty's husband returns , Ned meets him by chance and the two get acquainted.
What Ned believes he knows about Matty's husband is that he is not a very good guy and that he is madly in-love with Matty , so he will not give her up easily.
Matty later explains to Ned that she has seen her husbands will , which she is in.
But if she divorces him she will get nothing.
Ned decides now the only way for he and Matty to finally be together and have the money too , is to kill her husband.

Eddie asks Lila out but the two don't really hit it off.
When Eddie tells his friend and dad about this they talk him into seeing Lila again anyways.
So he does and before he knows it he and Lila get married.
But right after the wedding and on their honeymoon , Eddie realizes that he really doesn't like Lila a lot.
Things don't get any better when Eddie meets Miranda , a girl he actually likes.

Ellen the local sheriff arrives to chat with Anna and bring her out of her shell.
While the hospital is doing DNA tests on Anna in search of other relatives , Anna decides instead of going to another hospital , to go stay with Ellen.
At Ellen s home , Anna is exposed to many things she's never experienced before...and these experiences bring out the person inside Anna that her daddy was trying to keep from emerging.
