The story : Louanne has just separated from her husband and is looking for a job.
Her friend Hal suggests a job at his place of work , a teaching job.
Louanne applies and gets the job but from the get go it isn't anything like she expected.
Her class is full of rebellious teens who no one has had the patience for.
Instead of giving up on them , Louanne finds ways to get her students attention and spark their interests so she can teach them.
