Death Line AKA Raw Meat (1972)
Released September 14 , 1973 in the US.
Filmed entirely in the UK.
The story : On their way home via the underground subway , young couple Patricia and Alex happen upon a man lying on the stairs...
Patricia is concerned for the mans well-being. She believes he may be diabetic or something like that.
She begs Alex to look in his wallet for a medical card because Alex just thinks the guy is a drunk.
Alex checks the wallet and nope , no diabetic card so Alex tells Patricia he will go for help.
Patricia goes along. They find an officer. They tell the officer what they saw and he follows Alex to where he last seen the man. But there is no one there....
Little do Patricia and Alex know though , that man they found lying on the steps was an important guy.
When the cops find out he has missed an appointment and Patricia and Alex were the last to see him , presumably alive , they naturally want to talk with them.
Besides for all that , the chief of police finds out early on that some many years ago , workers were trapped underground , inside the subway walls while working.
The company they worked for never even tried to rescue any of them.
