The House of Suh (2010)
Released May 5th in the US.
Filmed in Illinois.
The story: Catherine and Andrew Suh came from a proud but humble Asian family.
Andrew was the favorite, the golden child if you will and his older sister, regarded as an outcast and defiant rebel.
When Andrew was just 11-years-old he became his fathers sole caregiver, as he lay dying in a hospital bed.
Andrew promised his father he would continue making him proud into his adulthood.
After their father's demise, their mother struggled financially while Andrew stayed by her side helping.
Catherine went on with her life, securing the love of a soon to be American husband.
Then another tragic blow came as their mother was brutally murdered at her dry cleaning business.
It was left now for Andrews older sister Catherine to be his soul parental guardian.
Things went well for years and off to college Andrew went but his sister began calling him for help.
Catherine was having problems with her boyfriend that Andrew knew about but now she was insisting that he was becoming violent toward her and that she needed Andrew to "Do something about him."
That's really when Andrews young life plummeted into a horrific downward spiral.
