The story : Agnes is a young , child-like nun.
One day she was found almost bleeding to death and sent to an outside hospital.
Shortly after Agnes was taken out of the convent older Mother Miriam finds a dead infant in Agnes' bedroom trash barrel.
Soon psychiatrist Doctor Livingston is assigned to try and help Miss Agnes and keep her out of jail , even though the church does not want to cooperate.
But Dr Livingston is most concerned about solving the mystery of what happened to Agnes and why.
