Tim and his older sister Sylvie are the only survivors of the attacks , but she wasnt there either.
Sylvie can however tell of what she knows and speak for her little brother.
She helps recruit the unwilling doctor to help her brother as this is the only way the mystery of their parents death can be solved.

Meanwhile, Gargamel is up to his old tricks, thinking of ways to capture Smurfs.
Gargamel visits his powerful Godfather Balthazar, asking that he tell him how to catch Smurfs.
Balthazar tells Gargamel there are no such things as Smurfs, that they are purely legend.
He also tells him of the different spell books he has, which using Smurfs could change lead into gold among many other spells.
Gargamel humors Balthazar about believing there is no such thing as Smurfs and steals one of the spellbooks.
Now Gargamel is off to cast a sleeping spell on Mother Nature so she will not allow Spring to be sprung.
Gargamel knows this will cause Papa Smurf to visit her and his plan works.
Now it's up to Papa Smurf to rescue Mother Nature so she can return the Spring weather.

The story : Oren Little is a grumpy , aging man.
He lost his wife a few years ago and since then his personality has been...lacking.
Oren is looking to sell the giant , expensive house he shared with his wife and son and while in the process is living at another waterfront property that he owns.
The other tenants dont like Oren very much as he is just not a nice person.
Soon Oren is met by his son , who he hasnt seen in quite sometime.
His son informs him that he will soon be going to prison and he needs Oren to watch his almost 10-year-old daughter while hes gone.
Oren protests but he doesnt have a choice.
One of the older women who lives next door to Oren at the waterfront property , Leah - helps him with his granddaughter.
This is out of pure sympathy for the granddaughter , knowing how awful Oren is.
Eventually Oren , Leah and his granddaughter become very close , teaching Oren what it is to be a happy , caring person once again.

The four get out there by the skin of their teeth.
After their close to crash landing , they begin exploring and looking around.
Sam happens to get a glimpse of a oddly large lizard and tries telling Susan and Lee about it but it disappears before they can see it.
So Sam shrugs it off cause , ha it must be his eyes playing tricks on him.
Next , Susan and Sam see a giant mouse and then a giant hawk attack it.
This blows their mind , but they decide not to tell the others.

She has her first parole hearing coming up in a month but they typically dont let anyone out at the first meeting.
A few days later , Robin sees the man who picked her up and dropped her off on tv.
He happens to be running for Governor.
So Robin calls him asking that he put in a good word for her at her hearing.
He advises her to make some future arrangements to help her chances.

The women who is in charge of the Baptist women has it out for Shannon as she believes he is fully to blame for the young women being obsessed with him.
Shannon is trying hard to do the right thing to keep his job , but the circumstances may be just too much to overcome alone.

Angry as hell about this , the kid freaks out and pisses off one of the people involved in the plan.
This doesnt end well.

Thats when the youngest sister shows up , with an ad from a newspaper which reads Vietnam is looking for musical acts to perform there.
The girls talk Dave into trying to help them get the gig.

After waiting two hours to see the doctor , Henry finds out the doctor is a fill-in for his.
This fill-in doctor isnt having the best day of her life and is feeling overwhelmed.
The doctor gets to be the one to tell Henry he has a brain aneurysm.
Henry , screaming at the top of his lungs from the moment the doctor entered the room , wants to know how much time he has.
Flustered and frustrated , the doctor blurts out that Henry has only 90 minutes to live.
So Henry rushes out of there with many ideas about what he should do for the last 90 minutes of his life.

Right after leaving the homestead , Duran goes for a visit with medicine man/high priest Abner.
Abner explains to Duran that in a days time , everyone will be dead.
Of course not of his doing , but more along the lines of their own.
No matter what , Duran cannot talk Abner out of this so he leaves not much wiser than when he arrived.
But Abners words are resonating within him.
After more attacks , this time on people , Duran visits with Abner once again.
Only this time , he finds that Abner has been attacked and killed as well.
No one could have expected the trouble that soon proceeds them.

What started out being the family would only have to live in the model home for a year has now turned into them being couped up for the next four years.
Dans wife and son are not happy about this but Dan is a very dedicated employee.
The animals who live in the forest have gotten word that the company Dan works for is going to take out their home.
So the animals have decided to take it out on Dan and hopefully stop him from destroying their home any further.
This is driving Dan into the depths of insanity.

While doing so , Elder falls in the mud. He gets cleaned off but is now soaking wet.
Katherine offers Elder some clean clothes.
While hes changing she gets a peek at his "smoking bod" and she starts getting the hots for him.
Quickly , because of Katherines advances , she and Elder begin a forbidden affair.
Elder gets more than obsessed with being with Katherine and at the time thats just fine.
But when Katherine decides to make an effort to get back together with her husband she cuts Elder right out of the picture.
Yea. Elder aint going for that shit.

When Ray gets a concious , he decides to have a talk with Julian.
Julian convinces Ray that it is quite possible that Abby has yet more men in her life than just them.
This proceeds to drive Ray and Julian more and more mad.
