Luther announces that he is going to Las Vegas for Christmas like he always does.
Dauber asks Hayden what he's getting Christine for a gift.
He explains he will be having some diamonds put in her engagement ring.
Luther overhears the conversation and suggests they go to his dentist, as he moonlights as a jeweler.
Hayden is so excited about how Christine will react to her gift, so he gives it to her early.
When he sees what is inside the box he recognizes that the jeweler clearly switched his and Daubers' gifts.
Now Judy thinks Dauber and her are engaged.
