The story: Kracklite is a seemingly happy and quite popular American architect.
He takes his young wife and travels to Italy, to work on a project for a French architect.
Things get tough for the brilliant architect, as he is in Italy for a year or more.
But he carries on with his mission.
All the while, Kracklite becomes more and more sick and reclusive.
