The story: When young Dorothy and her little dog Toto have a run-in with a mean lady, Dorothy finds herself quite upset about the whole ordeal.
The mean lady shows up at Dorothy's house, insistent that she is allowed to take Toto away from her...and she does.
But Toto escapes and runs back home to Dorothy.
Now Dorothy is worried that Toto will be found and taken from her once more, so she decides to take her beloved pooch and run away from home.
But while away, Dorothy meets someone who convinces her to go back home.
When Dorothy arrives back at her house, she is met by a vicious tornado and through all the commotion, Dorothy is bumped on the head, knocked out and finds herself dreaming into a whole nother world.
