It's Alive (2008)


This is a remake of the 1974 camp classic by the same title.
Released only on DVD and not in theaters, October 6th of 2009 in the US.
Filmed entirely in Bulgaria.
The story : Lenore is a college student who is leaving her studies to move in with her boyfriend and have their baby.
During the birth of their child, something goes horribly wrong.
No one knows exactly what could have happened.
The police believe if anyone knows anything at all, Lenore has got to know or remember something.
It's just a matter of getting her to tell them.

The story: A soda pop millionaire is living in a mansion with his daughter, granddaughter, son and help.
Everyone just seems unhappy, no matter what they do.
The daughter is obsessed with finding her mother and dissing her husband.
The son is obsessed with a girl who already has a boyfriend and the dad is looking to bring in a new lady.
Eventually, they are all stuck together in the basement while riding out a twister.

The story: Robert is a very good, well-ado concert pianist.
Only you wouldn't know it.
He has parted himself from his wealthy family and their lives and has taken home in a nowhere town, where no one knows his background.
Living as a blue-collar worker, with a ditsy live-in girlfriend, he knows this isn't where he wants to be either.
After meeting with his sister, he is talked into going home for a bit to visit.
During his visit, he is once again reminded that he is just not happy with his life and how he is living it.

The story: At a young age, Temples's mother gets word that her only daughter is autistic.
The doctors tell her mother to institutionalize her daughter, but she just will not have that.
Temple has some very hard times but she always rises above them somehow.
Her mother works hard to do everything she can for her daughter, and she sends her daughter to a school which is in Temples' very best interest.
There, she learns many things about herself, due to a very good friend/teacher who tests her abilities.
Temple ends up going to and graduating from college and while doing so, is in the process all the while of making a huge name for herself as a writer and inventor.

All is beautiful and lovely for the young queen, living her every day as if in a dream.
But soon, she and her family's lives take a turn for the worst when their beloved country turns on them.

The story: Jim Carroll is a high school student who plays basketball like no one else and keeps a journal.
He has a bright future to look forward to, if he chooses to make a career choice in the basketball area.
But, against everyone that has high hopes for him, he gets lost in the drug world and loses all hope in his basketball career, still keeping his journals and writing every fascination down in it.
