The Way Way Back (2013)

The story : Duncan is a 14-year-old who spends much time alone.
His newly separated mother has decided to take Duncan and herself along with her new boyfriend and his daughter to spend some of the summer at her boyfriends' summer home.
But Duncan wants to go stay with his dad.
But Duncan has to go along with his mom.
After days of Duncan's moms' boyfriend giving him the singling-out treatment , Duncan loses it.
He takes off to the local water park where he makes some pretty good , needed friends.

The story : While trying to escape the hands of a jealous man , carnival side-show magician known as Oz makes a great escape.
Or so he thinks.
He jumps into a hot air balloon waiting for him but soon finds himself inside a twister.
When he finally opens his eyes and is glad to still have his life about him , he finds himself in a wild , colorful place.
After crash landing , Oz meets Theodora - a witch in the land of Oz.
She explains many things to Oz , one of which is that the place he has landed is called Oz.
The most important thing Theodora tells him is that she believes he is the wizard who the great people of Oz have been expecting.
He is to free them all of the evil cluthes of the lands baddest witch.

The story : As a young girl , "Tanny" knew nothing more than ballet dancing.
She didn't have the childhood some children her age had but she was a happy girl none the less.
As she grew older , she grew more and more into her dancing abilities.
Tanny grew into a star when she became choreographer George Balanchine's muse.
Every show he introduced to the world had been written for Tanny and she danced them all.
Soon Tanny became Mrs. Balanchine and the two were madly in-love. Traveling the world , putting on shows and meeting many people.
But in time , without much warning , a new infectious disease had been striking down many healthy young people.
Tanny became just another of it's victims.

The story : Tina is a Canadian girl who lives with her mother and sister , has a famous Hockey-player father who she never sees and plays hockey like it's the only thing in life worth living for.
Somehow , Tina gets a modeling gig. And that gig gives Tina instant model stardom.
Tina travels the world here and there , meeting many who think they already know her. Doing TV interviews and news interviews in which the interviewer gives Tina no time to talk for herself.
Tina is involved with a famous photographer. Then she goes on to have an affair with an restauranteur. She leaves him for yet another man in the public spotlight but none of the relationships prove anymore than abusive.
Yea , a bit boring for my taste. Not as funny as I think I should have found this. If there is intent for this to be more than I got from this , I didn't get it. Oh well.

The story : Out of nowhere , Diane's husband , the father of her two teenage kids - asks her for a divorce.
She knew things weren't going well between them but she never seen this coming.
So Diane decides to take the kids and go visit her mom , who she hasn't been in 20 years.
Her mom is a hippie from days gone past and that doesn't exactly sit well with Diane.
But maybe in Diane's time with her mom she can learn to just relax and love the people in her life for who they are.

It seems Harry has a little too much fun and finds himself in the hospital after a heart attack.
While recovering , Harry ends up staying at the beach house with the woman he is datings' mother.
The two don't get along at first but once they get to know each other , they can't get the thought of each other off their mind.

The story : A writer is staying at the Grand Budapest Hotel. He has taken the time to see that everyone staying there , even the help - is very quiet and alone.
While talking with the front desk man , the writer is told that the only man sitting in the lobby other than them is in fact the the owner of the hotel.
The writer takes it upon himself to meet and get to know the man , widely known as Mr. Moustafa.
That is when Mr. Moustafa tells the writer the most fantastic tale of how he has become the once popular hotels' loyal owner.
