The story : Julie is almost 18.
She wants a car of her own.
Her dad works hard to support his family so he believes Julie getting a job to pay for her car will make her more independant.
All of Julie's friends hitchhike. Julie does too. Heck , everyone their age hitchhikes!
It is just the easiest way they see to get where they want to go.
They all know the dangers of hitchhiking , or at least they think they do.
But those dangers dont begin to start sinking in until one of them is beaten and raped.
Although , that still doesnt stop them from hitchhiking.

The chief is convinced that possibly , the new Judge Cheryl Cohen has been letting murderers free.
Mickey goes to speak to the judge and she denies that anyone she sets free is hardly guilty of mass murder.
Mickey falls for her...
The next day at work , Mickey learns from the chief that the number of missing people in town has gone through the roof.
While out and about looking for clues , Mickey witnesses a very large man eat an entire Italian restaurant owner - Mr. Scarpetti.
Mickey is sure the man he sees kill Mr. Scarpetti is the homicidal maniac theyve been looking for.
But his new girlfriend , Judge Cohen isnt convinced.

While Ed is on the phone , his girlfriend tells the others how Ed accidentially killed his mom when he was little , which drove his father mad.
Yea...but that's all in the past. There surely isnt any ill feelings between dad and Ed right??
Ed tells his buds about the beach condo.
They all decide that's the best place to go spend a fun weekend.
They all pack up and go on over.
But from the get-go , things are just - creepy.

Here we get a glimpse of a Corey Haim day.
He shows us his talent for hockey , baseball and tennis with a bit of skateboarding along the way.
Then we take a trip with him in his little red Alpha Romero through Los Angeles to the home he lives in with his mother.
Soon after meeting his dog Zeus , Corey is in the swimming pool floating on a crocodile floaty....
He goes on and on , with little snipets here and there of him talking about himself.
He mentions that John Ritter is the star he looks up to and that he would like to write , direct and move to another country , living free in the next ten years....
Lastly , we get a look at one of his many favorite pastimes , experimenting with electronic music and fashion.
Corey cannot get enough fashion. Or electronic music. Or modeling for PR photos.
