The story: Twenty years ago, 5 little girls are convinced by a strange boy, their age, in their town to go to his home with him.
The boy, Milo, lives with his father, who is a gynecologist and has been doing some very strange work in his office.
One of the girls is attacked and killed by young Milo.
As adults, the girls all still keep in touch.
When one gets the news that her friend from childhood is getting married, she returns to her childhood town...only to find that her beloved friend has passed away only hours before her arrival.
Soon the young woman is seeing and encountering some very odd things, which all lead in the direction of that strange young boy she had known in her childhood.

But Hector, a married man with a young son, had too much weight on his shoulders.
By the mid-eighties, he found himself with a very serious drug problem.
Many heartbreaking situations followed.
