The story: A very inverted, depressed teen, who has a very sheltered life with her single, extremely religious mother - is tormented and teased to an extreme at the high school she attends.
When she is unexpectedly invited to her senior prom by the most popular boy at school - she starts to come out of her shell and loosen up, little by little.
But after being the victim of yet another cruel joke brought onto her by non-friends but fellow classmates - all hell finally breaks loose.
